Heath Church

Website update in progress

We are people saved by grace, and want you to know you can have peace in a crazy world. Sunday Worship service starts at 10:30, so come a little early and we'll show you around.

Welcome home

Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.

There is no dress code here, no insider language, and no need to have it all figured out. We are farmers and nurses, students and retirees, newcomers and lifers — held together by grace rather than by sameness.

Who We Are

We are a small church that would like to grow in number. We have a great start and need more people to expand our ministries. We're not perfect, but ask God to use us as we are.

What We Believe

Our beliefs are based on the Bible. We believe Jesus to be the Son of God, and that His sacrifice on the cross has paid our debt in full for sin. Everyone has the choice to accept or reject his teachings. For those who do, we become a child of God. We are a work in progress until we meet Jesus face to face.

Everyone Is Welcome

All of us are learning. There are no dumb questions. Ask about a relationship with Jesus, or how you can become more involved in a fulfilling life.

Our ministries

A slow unfolding from survival into presence.

Six doorways into the life of the church. Each one is a real group of people who will learn your name.

Children

Safe, joyful rooms where kids meet Jesus through story, song, and play.

Youth

Middle and high schoolers finding real friendship and honest faith.

Adults

Life groups that gather around tables, seasons, and shared burdens.

Bible Study

Verse-by-verse teaching Wednesday evenings, open to anyone curious.

Prayer

A team that prays over every request, every week, by name.

Outreach

Food pantry, school partnerships, and neighbors served with dignity.

Life together

A church is not a building. It is the people inside it.

Most of what happens at Heath Church happens Monday through Saturday.

Mark P.

I love the Heath Christian Union Church. The people are so friendly and very caring. Paster Skiles preaches Salvation through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His sermons compel us to share the gasped with others. If you are looking for a church family that does not judge and truly wants to lead you to Salvation, than this is the church for you.

Ashlee

If you’re looking for a church that’s welcoming and inviting this is the place to be. I attended this church growing up and now my kids attend the church. It’s a place of safety and comfort of being able to be your true self.

Connie B.

A small church attended by a body of believers who love the Lord and each other. The ministry is Bible-based and scripturally sound. All who enter are greeted with a warm welcome. This is a place of great fellowship and feels like a home! Please come and see for yourself.

Baptism at Willow Creek

“Therefore we were buried with him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead, we too may walk in newness of life.”

Twice a year we walk down to the creek together. Baptism is not a graduation — it is a public yes, spoken in water, surrounded by people who will hold you to it gently.
